As a member of the Data Analytics team at Serif Health, you will play a critical role in driving cross-functional initiatives across data, revenue, product, and engineering to accelerate growth, margin, and product velocity. You will wear a lot of different hats, help mature & build new analytics functions, and manage stakeholders across multiple customer organizations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and automating reports and dashboards that clearly communicate insights to customers; creating compelling visualizations and summaries to support customer conversations, executive briefings, and strategic initiatives
- Translating ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks and repeatable queries; developing and documenting repeatable methodologies for payer, provider, and market-level pricing analyses
- Surfacing trends in data gaps or inconsistencies and suggesting product development opportunities; Working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to improve data cleanliness, streamline delivery, and scale custom reporting capabilities
- Analyzing large-scale price transparency datasets to identify pricing trends, reimbursement benchmarks, and provider network dynamics; partnering with Customer Operations, Sales, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact analyses that inform customer strategies and drive new business
- Supporting RFPs, sales enablement efforts, and strategic accounts with ad-hoc analyses
- Directly collaborating with customers on data projects to build new Serif Health IP (e.g., custom reports and insights)
- Identifying and analyzing potential additional price transparency data-sets (e.g., related to ambulatory surgical centers, imaging facilities, or prescription drugs)
- Expressing interest and a growth mindset for industry developments, internal initiatives, and best practices in healthcare data analytics
- Supporting ad-hoc strategic initiatives led by company leadership, including special projects with the CEO or CTO
What We Expect:
- 3-5 years of work experience in a professional field (e.g., analytics, consulting, health tech, finance, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel and/or SQL, as well as data analytics/visualization platforms (e.g., Sigma Computing, Tableau, SaaS platforms) for data manipulation and analysis
- Comfort working with large-scale datasets; price transparency or other healthcare data experience (e.g., claims data, medical records) highly preferred
- A track record of solving complex, unstructured problems with creativity and precision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present data-driven narratives to stakeholders at all levels
- An ability to work independently, move quickly with accuracy, and self-manage for high impact in a small team environment
- High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and professionalism
- Passion for problem solving and increasing affordability & transparency in the US healthcare market
